A Wound to Humanity

This isn't a video game, this is real life.

Unattached, we do not feel their wounds, or hear their cries, or see the damage that has been done.

Unattached and far away - the screen is like a video game, shielding our minds from the reality of the situation.

Somewhere a man in uniform is following orders,

mindlessly, he pushes a button, and the bomb is dropped on a civilian village.

"For the war on terror", he tells himself. Not realizing the terrorist is really himself.

Somewhere a single man is living in a mansion big enough for 50 + 3,

while a single mom is kicked out on the streets because she can't pay the bills.

Day after day the world watches as people suffer under occupation, or in the streets with out a place to rest their head.

"It's not my wound," the man said "It's a wound to humanity".

Sea of Eternity

The universe is an ocean

Waves of energy,

flowing,

shifting,

forever changing,

ripples and waves of intricate patterns,

bouncing off another pattern,

creating something new

in the sea of eternity

Secret Places

There is no one I will take to my secret places,
but myself, and my song.

The place where I love to love to be alone.
A place to blossom and grow with the trees and leaves, in silence.
A place where I know I will never fall in love with anything, but life itself.

Love is in the air

Love is all around.
I can feel it in the cool crisp air,
and the sun rays that that touch my skin so gently.
The sun illuminates the vibrant green trees,
and the birds chirp love.
And I am here,
to absorb,
to observe,
and to love.
